Bolton Castle Tea Rooms (Food for Thought) at Bolton CastleBolton Castle Tea Rooms (Food for Thought) at Bolton Castle

The Tea Room at Bolton Castle offers delicious sandwiches, light lunches (served all day) and cakes. Almost all of our produce is either homemade or locally sourced. We have a large selection of hot and cold drinks including herbal teas, cappuccinos and organic fruit drinks and cordials. We serve local bitters from both the Black Sheep and Wensleydale breweries and wine is available by the bottle.

2008 has seen the start of a small deli within the Tea Room with products such as locally smoked duck, salmon, bacon and chicken as well as local milk, eggs, butter, cream and cheese. We also stock crackers and fruits for cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, jellies, chutneys, jams chocolates and crisps. This is just a small example of what we have and we hope to add more for 2009.

We ask that large groups telephone in advance.
