From Harrogate, York and Skipton (A59). At roundabout take exit signposted Bolton Abbey (B6160). The car park is on the left just after the Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel.

By Public Transport:

Buses run to Bolton Abbey from Ilkley and Grassington (service 74 on Mondays to Saturdays and service 874 on Sundays and Bank Holidays); buses also run to nearby Bolton Bridge from Harrogate and Skipton (service X59 running on Mondays to Saturdays).   • Electric and push wheelchairs are available from April to October giving access to the Priory Chruch and Ruins, riverside, Strid Wood and the Strid. Wherver reasonably possibly all the historic buildings are accessible to disabled visitors. The above report is very general as the cafes, restaurants and giftshops on the Estate differ significantly. All have disabled access however this varries from one establishment to another.
