Located in the same building as the Council Offices, the Visitor and Community Centre and Information Point endeavours to be open from 10.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Saturday between Easter and October half term.
Come discover the many exclusive and intriguing possibilities to stimulate your further interest in this delightful area. Enthusiastic volunteers keen to attend to your needs and to make your visit here a memorable experience, staff our Centre.
Brochures and guides are available covering visitor attractions, accommodation, gardens, river cruises, festivals, entertainment venues and much more besides. You will also find available a wide selection of locally produced literature on topics such as - places of interest, a variety of local walks, cycle routes, historical events and, you can also discover stories of notable and interesting people of this area including Robin Hood – yes the Robin Hood!
If you would like a souvenir of your visit, local products and craft items are available to purchase, either for yourself or as gifts to family and friends. Call in to see us, we would be delighted to meet you and help you enjoy your stay.
